Mark Howells

Mark Howells is professor in Energy Systems Analysis at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. The field of research covers energy systems analysis, methodological development and modelling of energy systems in global and regional perspectives with the aim to develop decision support systems for decision makers. Before joining KTH, Mark worked at the Planning and economic studies section (PESS), in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna. There he worked with application of energy systems analysis to answer questions which relate to social, economic, environmental and other strategic goals.
