Nongnit Laytragoon-Lewin

Nongnit Laytragoon-Lewin is an Associate Professor and a principal investigator at the Department of Oncology, Linköping University and Department of Laboratory Medicine, Ryhov Hospital, Jönköping. She received BSc from Chiang Mai University. After completing her MSc from Mahidol University in Thailand, she further pursued Dr. Med. Sc. (PhD) at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm and post doctoral research at Radiumhemmet, Karolinska University Hospital. During 2000-2006, Nongnit worked as a principal investigator and an Associate Professor at Clinical Research Center, Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge. Being a researcher from Thailand while residing abroad, she also finds an opportunity to contribute back to her home country by giving annual lecture and visiting Naresuan University (NU) and Chiang Mai University. Currently, Nongnit is collaborating with NU on a research project that deals with smoking related health and diseases. She also supervises a student from NU who attends a five-month experimental training in her laboratory during 2014-2015.
